What To Expect
All sessions are currently online through a secure video platform. If you prefer, telephone sessions are also available.

Your counselling sessions will generally last 50 minutes. The number of sessions required vary by individual needs. Some individuals feel much better after 1-3 sessions, others need or want more, depending on goals for therapy.
The counselling relationship is one based on building trust. Your expectations or what you hope to get out of counselling will be discussed. We will decide together the best approach for you and work together to reach your goals. My approach to counselling is eclectic, using a variety of approaches, including Self-Regulation Therapy (SRT), a gentle, mind-body approach.
When counselling is coming to a close, it is beneficial to engage in a conversation to explore the changes you have made and consider possible next steps.
